titleOfInvention Condensing apparatus for oxygen
abstract PURPOSE: To prolong the lifetime of an oxygen sensor by electrifying an oxygen concentration measuring means periodically or only at an arbitrary time, as occasion demands. n CONSTITUTION: In a conduit means 10 for leading a condensed oxygen gas of an oxygen condensing apparatus to a supply means for supplying the gas to be used, an oxygen concentration measuring means 12 is provided and, moreover, a control means 13 having an electrification control means for electrifying the measuring means intermittently, etc. is provided. In addition to the function as the control means for intermittent electrification, the control means 13 may have also a function for setting a lower-limit concentration of oxygen beforehand and stopping a compressor 3 automatically when a measured value turns lower than the lower-limit value of the concentration. Furthermore, it is desirable that the control means 13 is provided with a function whereby the measured value of the concentration of oxygen obtained after a prescribed time of about 2 to 5 minutes, for instance, passes from the time point of the start of the intermittent electrification can be adopted as the value of a properly measured concentration of oxygen. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1992,JPO&Japio
