titleOfInvention | Formation of surface protective material and surface protective layer of color filter |
abstract | PURPOSE: To improve the display grade and resolving power of the color filter by using the surface protective material, etc., formed by combining an acid anhydride with an org. high-polymer compd. having specific constitutional formula and specific melt viscosity. n CONSTITUTION: This surface protective material is constituted of the org. high-polymer compd. A-1 which has the constitutional unit expressed by general formula (1) and has ≤5000cps melt viscosity at 100 to 200°C and the arom. acid anhydride B-1, such as phthalic anhydride, or the org. high-polymer compd. A-2 having the constitutional unit expressed by the general formula (1) and the multifunctional alicyclic epoxy compd. C. The viscosity at 100 to 200°C in the case of mixing of the constituting components A-2 and C in the latter combination is adjusted to ≤5000cps and the respective mixing weight ratios are set in a prescribed range. Further, a coupling agent and UV absorbent, etc., are added at need to the mixture and the mixture is uniformly mixed in a solvent, such as ester. The mixture formed in such a manner is applied on the color filter and is subjected to a heating treatment. The coated film is flattened by melt flowing to form the necessary hardened film. The display grade and resolving power as the color filter are improved in this way. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1992,JPO&Japio |
