titleOfInvention | Decorated panel and manufacture thereof |
abstract | PURPOSE: To obtain a panel having no recessed and protruding parts of patterns in its surface and having excellent durability and abrasion resistance of the patterns by preliminarily printing patterns in a first molding plate in use of ink containing a release agent and injection molding resin into the molding mold in which the patterns are turned inside and manufacturing a panel thereby. n CONSTITUTION: On the one surface 1a of a sheet of inorganic glass 1, patterns 4 are printed by ink. The ink used herein consists of resin of being soluble into pigment, release agent, organic solvent, and the organic solvent. Next, for rendering the surface of the inorganic glass with printed patterns inside, a sheet of approximately identical inorganic glass 5 is opposed thereto and, for making the distance between the inorganic glasses 1 and 5 have a desired breadth, gaskets 2 made of flexible vinyl chloride or the like are inserted into the utmost outer peripheral parts of the inorganic glasses 1 and 5 and secured thereto by clips 3 and, into the mold constructed by an aforementioned manner, the molten resin of thermosetting resin is injected and then heat- cured, after that, removed from the molding mold for obtaining a painted panel 6. The thus obtained decorated panel 6 has utterly no recessed and protruded feelings because the ink part 4 is taken into the panel and therefore has a flat surface thereon. In consequence thereof, the painted parts are not likely to wear. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1992,JPO&Japio |
