abstract | PURPOSE: To make quercetin glucuronide to be safely and widely utilized by extracting a specific cultured cell. n CONSTITUTION: A leaf of Euphorbia millii as a plant belonging to genus Euphorbia is washed with deionized water and extracted by alcohol, etc., then cut, thus the resultant small piece is cultured in a medium containing auxin-affecting substance, etc., by light irradiation to obtain cultured cell (B) as callus, differentiated tissue, cultured organ, cultured root or cultured foliage abundantly containing quercetin glucuronide (A). Next, the component B is freeze-dried and extracted with a neutral organic solvent (C) such as butanol. to obtain an extracted solution (D).
