abstract PURPOSE: To contrive the maintenance of the effect of a glossy coating over a long period of time by a method wherein the coating agent consisting mainly of siloxane polymer is applied to the surface of an object and the surface thereof is heated to bake the coating agent thereon. n CONSTITUTION: A coating agent consisting mainly of siloxane polymer is applied to the surface of an object 20. This coat on the surface of the object 20 is heated by a heater 8 in a heating booth 16 to be baked thereon.
