titleOfInvention Production of maltooligosaccharide
abstract PURPOSE: To readily obtain a maltooligosaccharide 6f heptamer which has not been obtained by using an inexpensive enzyme by treating α-D-maltosyl with α-amylase in a mixed solvent of an organic solvent and a buffer solution. n CONSTITUTION: α-D-Maltosyl shown by formula I is treated with α-amylase in a mixed solvent of an organic solvent (preferably methanol) and a buffer solution (preferably phosphoric acid buffer solution) to give the objective compound shown by formula II (n is ≥2; X is hydroxyl or fluorine atom). Concentration of the compound shown by formula I in the reaction is preferably 1×10 -2 g/ml and the reaction temperature is preferably 20-50°C. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1992,JPO&Japio
