titleOfInvention Preparation of oil-in-water-oil type emulsion
abstract PURPOSE: To safely and efficiently prepare stable oil-in-water-in oil type emulsion of food, etc., by press-entering a oil-in-water type emulsion in an oil phase with a lower applying pressure after impregnating a hydrophilic porous film with the oil phase. n CONSTITUTION: The oil phase O2 stored in a circulating vessel 1 is shifted to the center part of a module fitting the hydrophilic porous film with a pump 2 through a line 8 to beforehand wet the porous film by dipping it in the oil phase O2. Successively, the oil-in-water type emulsion stored in a pressure vessel 4 is adjusted with a valve 6, and after pressurizing it to the prescribed pressure with an inert gas, pump, etc., through a line 11, the water phase is supplied to the outside of the film through a valve 5 and a line 10 and press-entered in the oil phase O2 from fine holes in the film. By such a simple operation, without needing silylizing agent, etc., the oil-in-water-in-oil (O1/W/O2) type emulsion is safely prepared under good conditions with low pressure. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1992,JPO&Japio
