titleOfInvention Method for transforming high-melting point crystal of 3-dibutylamino-6-methyl-7-anilinofluoran into low-melting point crystal and heat-sensitive recording material using low-melting point crystal obtained by the same method
abstract PURPOSE: To industrially advantageously and stably transform the title high- melting point crystal into low-melting point crystal by blending an aromatic solvent solution of high-melting point crystal of a specific fluoran compound with a lower alcohol based solvent dispersion of low-melting point crystal.' n CONSTITUTION: A high-melting point crystal of 3-dibutylamino-6-methyl-7- anilinofluoran is completely dissolved in an aromatic solvent, preferably benzene, toluene and/or xylene and then the resultant solution is added to lower alcohol based solvent dispersion into which a low-melting point crystal of 3- dibutylamino-6-methyl-7-anilinofluoran is dispersed and these liquids are mixed by stirring to advantageously transform the aimed high melting point crystal into a low melting point crystal. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1992,JPO&Japio
