NEW MATERIAL:3,4-Bis(ethoxycarbonyloxy)phenethylamine oxalate-1/2 hydrate. n USE: An intermediate for producing dopamine derivatives which are medicines having excellent renal bloodstream increasing action. n PREPARATION: A compound expressed by formula I (Z is amino group-protecting group removable with an acid) is treated with oxalic acid-hydrate to collect deposited crystals and afford 3,4-bis(ethoxycarbonyloxy)phenethylamine oxalate-1/2 hydrate. Furthermore, the resultant compound is then reacted with a reactive derivative of N-acetylmethionine to afford N-(N-acetylmethionyl)-O,O- bis(ethoxycarbonyl)dopamine expressed by formula II, i.e., a dopamine derivative. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1992,JPO&Japio |
