abstract | PURPOSE: To sterilize trichophytes at a low cost in a short time by dipping materials or parts where the trichophytes are parasitic or sticking in water containing ozone dissolved therein. n CONSTITUTION: Materials or part (e.g. skin or clothes) where trichophytes are parasitic or sticking are dipped in water containing ozone dissolved therein at 1-25mg/l (preferably 5-15mg/l) concentration of the dissolved ozone for ≥3min (preferably 3-5min) to carry out sterilization. Since the ozone reacts with organic substances to readily lose activity, a continuous apparatus for producing the water containing the ozone dissolved therein is used to continuously provide water containing the ozone dissolved at the aforementioned concentration and the parts where the trichophytes are parasitic or sticking are preferably continuously brought into contact therewith for surely exterminating the trichophytes. The trichophytes can be sterilized at a low cost in a short time according to the above-mentioned method without using expensive chemicals and requiring treatment by medical specialists. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1992,JPO&Japio |
