titleOfInvention Dispersant for inorganic pigment
abstract PURPOSE: To obtain a dispersant for an inorg. pigment having a satisfactory dispersing effect and ensuring aging stability of viscosity for a dispersion liq. by using phenolsulfonate and phenol in a specified ratio and co-condensing them with formaldehyde in an alkaline region. n CONSTITUTION: Phenol is added by 4-30mol%, basing on e.g. 1mol sodium hydroxide, potassium hydroxide solution of phenolsulfonic acid, and they are co- condensed with formaldehyde in an alkaline atmosphere. The resulting copolycondensation product having 500-40,000 average mol.wt. is used as a dispersant. This dispersant has a satisfactory dispersing effect to calcium carbonate, etc., and ensures aging stability of viscosity for a dispersion liq. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1992,JPO&Japio
