abstract | PURPOSE: To easily obtain the subject copolymer having transparency, strength, processability, etc., and excellent peelability, water-repellency, etc., at a low cost by carrying the randomcopolymerization of ethylene and a polysiloxane monomer having radically polymerizable functional group. n CONSTITUTION: The objective copolymer having an MFR of 0.1-5,000g/10min and exhibiting Si-O-Si absorption at 1100-1000cm -1 in FT-IR spectrum can be produced by the radical polymerization of (A) ethylene and (B) a monomer produced by bonding a radically polymerizable functional group to preferably one terminal of a polysiloxane monomer of formula (R 1 and R 2 are hydrocarbon group or hydrogen; (n) is 5-300) e.g. at 100-300°C.
