abstract | PURPOSE: To provide the subject catalyst composed of a solid catalyst component obtained by a specific method, a specific substituted piperidine derivative and an organic Al compound, having remarkably high activity, giving a highly stereoregular polymer in high yield and capable of keeping the high catalytic activity over a long period. n CONSTITUTION: The objective catalyst can be produced by suspending (A) diethoxymagnesium in (B) an alkylbenzene, contacting the suspension with (C) ≤1 pt.vol. (based on 1 pt.vol. of the component B) of TiCl 4 , adding (D) a tetraalkoxytitanium to the product at ≤80°C, adding and reacting (E) phthaloyl dichloride at 80-125°C, washing the resultant solid substance with an alkylbenzene, reacting the product with the component C in the presence of the component B, repeating the above procedures thrice or more to obtain a solid catalyst component and finally combining the solid catalyst component with a disubstituted or tetrasubstituted piperidine derivative of formula [R 1 to R 4 are H or (substituted) alkyl; at least one of R 1 and R 2 and at least one of R 3 and R 4 are alkyl] and an organic Al compound. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1992,JPO&Japio |
