titleOfInvention Softening finish
abstract PURPOSE: To provide the title finish capable of imparting various kinds of textiles with excellent flexibility, antistatic nature and elasticity, containing an inorganic or 1-6C organic acid-neutralized or quaternarized product of a specific (di-long chain type) tertiary amine. n CONSTITUTION: The objective water-based finish with excellent storage stability for a long period of time, containing, as softening base material, 4-40wt.% of an inorganic or l-6C organic acid (pref. hydrochloric acid)-neutralized or quaternarized product of a tertiary amine compound of the formula (R 1 and R 2 are each 11-22C alkyl or alkenyl; l and m are each 2 or 3; n is 0 or 2). Said compound can be prepared by hydrogenation of a reaction product from (A) a two-chain type long chain alkyl or long chain alkenyl ketone formed by e.g. the decarboxylation of a fatty acid and (B) a hydroxyalkyl group- containing primary amine. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1992,JPO&Japio
