titleOfInvention Manufacture of check valve
abstract PURPOSE: To reduce the number of parts and processing and assembling time and prevent the occurrence of improper sealing by a method wherein a valve casing is molded by pouring the synthetic resin material moldable at a lower temperature than the melting point of an alloy having a low melting point and a core is heated to a higher temperature than the melting point of this alloy so as to melted and discharged. n CONSTITUTION: A check valve 1 consists of a valve casing 2 and a ball 5. The outside diameter A of the ball 5 is made smaller than the inside diameter B of an inlet 3 of the valve casing 1 and the inside diameter C of an outlet 4 thereof. A core 10 conforming with the shape of the valve casing 2 having the ball 5 received in a flow passage part E thereof is made of an alloy having a low melting point and set in matrices 11a, 11b and 11c. Subsequently, synthetic resin material moldable at a lower temperature in the melting point of the low melting point alloy of the core 10 is poured into a space F between the matrix 11c and the core 10 to mold the valve casing 2. After removal of the matrices 11a, 11b and 11c, the valve casing 2 and the core 10 are heated to a higher temperature than the melting point of the core alloy to melt and discharge the core 10 with the ball 5 remaining in the valve casing 2, thereby obtaining a check valve 2. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1992,JPO&Japio
