titleOfInvention Allyl ester oligomer composition and organic glass for optical material using the same
abstract PURPOSE:To obtain the allyl ester oligomer compsn. for producing an optical material having a relatively high refractive index and excellent impact resistance by mixing specific compds. thereby forming the compsn. having the refractive index of a specific value. CONSTITUTION:The compds. consisting of 20 to 90wt.% allyl ester oligomer having 20 to 150 unsaturation degree expressed by the iodine value measured by a Wijs method, 10 to 80wt.% at least polyvalent allyl ester monomers selected from diallyl phthalate, diallyl isophthalate, diallyl terephthalate, diallyl adipate, triallyl(iso)cyanurate and triallyl trimerritate and 0 to 40wt.% at least one monofunctional monomers selected from vinyl benzoate, allyl benzoate, phenyl (meth)acrylate, and benzyl (meth)acrylate are mixed to prepare the allyl ester oligomer compsn. having 200 to 50,000cps viscosity at 30 deg.C and 1.50 to 1.57 refractive index, by which the allyl ester oligomer for the optical material having the high refractive index and the high impact resistance is obtd.
