titleOfInvention | Optically active dicyclopentadienes |
abstract | PURPOSE: To efficiently obtain both enantiomers having high optical purity in a large amount by reacting specific compound with esterase and performing ester interchange with triglyceride or vinyl ester of fatty acid. n CONSTITUTION: A (±)-tricyclo [5.2.1.0 2.6 ] deca-3-hydroxy-4,8-diene expressed by formula I [(±) is racemic modification] is mixed with vinyl ester of fatty acid (e.g. vinyl acetate) or triglyceride (e.g. tributyrin) in a molar ratio of 1:0.01-0.6 and dissolved in a solvent such as n-hexane to obtain a substrate solvent (A). Next, esterase (B) derived from microorganism, etc., is added to the A-solvent and reacted at 25-45°C for 1-1000hr to obtain a reaction product (C). Then, the C-component is separated by vacuum distillation method, etc., to produce optically active dicyclopentadienes such as optically active tricyclo [5.2.1.0 2.6 ] deca-3-acyloxy-4,8-diene (D) expressed by formula II and formula III [(+) and (-) are enantiomers; R is 2-15C alkyl]. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1991,JPO&Japio |
