abstract | PURPOSE: To produce a protease aqueous liquid composition, having high stability and being directly formed into a formulation by adding an inert salt to an aqueous medium to provide a finely dispersed precipitation of a protease present in the aqueous medium, and regulating the density by adding a thickening agent thereto. n CONSTITUTION: A protease, especially a spleen conjugated enzyme such as pancreatin present in an aqueous medium is formed into a finely dispersed precipitation by the addition of an inert salt such as ammonium sulfate and sodium sulfate. A thickening agent such as a xanthane is added to the suspension of the finely dispersed enzyme and the density thereof is regulated so as to be within the range of 1.22-1.23 to provide the objective sedimentation- resistant stable protease aqueous liquid composition. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1991,JPO |
