abstract PURPOSE: To obtain an oxygen concentrator capable of being utilized in the comfortable environment by equipping an introducing means for introducing the air utilized for cooling to the outside of a chamber to the discharge port of air flow for cooling around a motor-fitted pump for taking out O 2 - concentrated gas. n CONSTITUTION: Air is supplied to an adsorption bed with an adsorbent capable of selectively adsorbing O 2 or N 2 therefrom packed therein. O 2 -concentrated gas is taken out from a motor-fitted pump. The flow of air is caused around this pump by a fan to cool the circumference of the pump. In this case, the air utilized for cooling is introduced to the outside of a chamber by an introducing means made of a duct, etc., provided to a discharge port for discharging the flow of this air. Further heat is more effectively discharged from the circumference of the above-mentioned pump by providing an auxiliary manual blowing means in widway part of the introducing means. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1991,JPO&Japio
