abstract PURPOSE: To obtain a pharmaceutical composition comprising an active medicine substance and a cyclodextrin(CD) in an anhydrous or dehydrated form and having improved medicine dissolution properties and biological suitability. CONSTITUTION: This solid pharmaceutical composition having improved dissolution properties comprises an active medicine substance and CD, preferably β-CD having a water content of <5wt.%, in a molar ratio of 0.5:1 to 10:1, preferably 4:1 to 1:1, and has a residual water content of <7wt.%, preferably <5wt.%. The composition can be prepared by a simple mechanical mixing or cogrinding method.
