abstract PURPOSE: To obtain the subject composition, containing a specific surfactant and cationic polymer compound and capable of improving adsorptivity of the polymer compound on hair and further improving usability. n CONSTITUTION: A shampoo composition containing (A) 3-30 pts.wt. alkyloylalkyltaurine salt type anionic surfactant expressed by formula I (R 1 is 7-19C alkyl, 7-19C alkenyl or hydroxyalkyl; R 2 is 1-3C alkyl; M is alkali metal or organic amine), (B) 3-30 pts.wt. one or two or more betaine-based ampholytic surfactants, (C) 0.1-5 pts.wt. nonionic surfactant having 10-16 HLB, (D) 0.1-5 pts.wt. one or two or more selected from alkylolamide type nonionic surfactants and semipolar surfactants expressed by formula II (R 3 is 7-19C alkyl or 7-19C alkenyl; m and n are integers and the sum thereof is 1-5) and (E) 0.01-3 pts.wt. cationic polymer compound so as to provide (3:1)-(1:2) blending ratio of the ingredients (A:B) and 10-50 pts.wt. total amount of the ingredients based on the whole. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1991,JPO&Japio
