abstract | PURPOSE: To obtain the title polyester improved in an ability to initiate the photopolymerization of a radical-polymerizable monomer by constituting it from structural units of a specified structural formula. n CONSTITUTION: A polyester having halogen atoms on both ends and a dithiocarbamate are subjected to a substitution reaction to obtain a dithiocarbamate group-containing polyester of formula I [wherein R 1-2 are each H or a 1-10C alkyl; R 3 is a group of any one of formulas II-V (wherein R 6 is H or a 1-4C alkyl; R 7 is a 1-10C alkylene; and R 8-9 are each R 1 ; and R 10 is a 1-10C linear or branched alkylene); R 4 is a polymer structural unit formed by esterifying a dihydric alcohol of formula VI (wherein R" is a 2-10C linear or branched alkylene, a 2-100C polyetherpolyalkylene containing 1-98 O atoms or a group of formula VII or VIII; and R 12 is R 1 ); and R 5 is a polymer structural unit formed by esterifying a dibasic acid of formula IX (wherein R 12 is a 2-10C saturated or unsaturated alkylene or the like); and 10≤n≤5000]. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1991,JPO&Japio |
