titleOfInvention | Liquid concentration sensor |
abstract | PURPOSE: To realize a sensor which can maintain constant accuracy by providing a detecting part and a light emitting part and a light detecting part formed into a solid rod and, forming a reflecting film made of a first and a second glass layers and an aluminum layer to said detecting part through vacuum evaporation. n CONSTITUTION: When light beams are projected by driving a light emitting diode 15a, the light beams are transmitted within a solid rod 14 of acrylic resin and reflected by a reflecting film 14a. The reflecting beams enter the rod 14 of a sensing part into a liquid to be measured, the while the remaining beams are totally reflected to be incident upon a photosensor 15b, where they are changed to be analog current signals. The analog current signal is converted to a concentration signal and indicated by a liquid crystal display panel. Since a first glass layer 14b formed through vacuum evaporation is favorably fixed to acrylic resin, and moreover, an aluminum layer 14c formed through vacuum evaporation is also fixed well to the layer 14b, the reflecting film 14a is hard to delaminate. Further, since there is provided a second glass layer 14d through vacuum evaporation, the layer 14c becomes difficult to be damaged. Accordingly, the sensing part can maintain constant accuracy. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1991,JPO&Japio |
