abstract PURPOSE: To provide a chromatography carrier capable of accurately separating and determining dissimilated hemoglobin in a short time by using a cation exchange resin containing at least 3wt.% of a unit represented by a specific formula derived from glycidyl methacrylate. n CONSTITUTION: By using a cation exchange resin containing at least 3wt.% of unit represented by formula (wherein R 1 and R 2 are a hydrogen atom and an org. group having a cation exchange group) derived from glycidyl methacrylate, 80 - 97wt.% of a unit derived from a crosslinkable monomer containing polyester of polyhydric alcohol and carboxylic acid having at least one polymerizable double bond and 0 - 5wt.% of a unit derived from a monomer having one polymerizable double bond in one molecule thereof other than glycidyl methacrylate and having exchange capacity of a 0.1 - 0.5 miliequivalent on a dry wt. basis, a chromatography carrier capable of separating and determining dissimilated hemoglobin is obtained. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1991,JPO&Japio
