abstract | PURPOSE: To allow measurement with high reliability by using an amino acid deriv. in which fructose is conjugated with an amino group as a standard material for measuring the fructosamine in blood. n CONSTITUTION: amino acid deriv. in which the fructose is conjugated with the amino group is used as the standard material for measuring the fructosamine in blood in the measurement method which determines the content of the fructosamine by bringing the sample derived from the blood into reaction with an oxidation reduction dyestuff in an alkaline buffer soln. and making comparative measurement of the degree of the coloration thereof. The amino acid deriv. in which the fructose is conjugated with the amino group and which is used as the standard material for measurement is used together with the sample derived from the blood.
