abstract PURPOSE: To enhance the photosensitivity by imparting a phenethyl group bonded to the N atom of 3,4-dicarboxyimide to each photoconductive material. n CONSTITUTION: A combination of perylene-3,4:9, 10-bis(dicarboxyimide) with perylene-3,4-dicarboxyimide contg. a 9,9a,10-condensed imidazo[1,2-a]pyridino ring is incorporated. At this time, a phenethyl group bonded to the N atom of 3,4-dicarboxyimide is imparted to each of the photoconductive materials. The phenethyl group is a group in which an ethylene bond combines a phenyl part with the N atom of 3,4-dicarboxyimide. Higher photosensitivity can be ensured. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1991,JPO
