titleOfInvention Electrophotographic sensitive body
abstract PURPOSE: To obtain the photosensitive body which can stand the higher speed of electrophotographic printers by using a specific titanyl phthalocyanine crystal or the compsn. crystal thereof as the effective component of a charge generating agent and using a specific polystyrene compd. as the effective component of a charge transfer agent. n CONSTITUTION: The charge generating agent consists of the titanyl phthalocyanine compsn. crystal contg. - to 50 pts. wt. nitrogen isoconstitutional body of nonmetallic phthalocyanine, nitrogen isoconstitutional body of metallic phthalocyanine, etc. and 10 pts. wt. titanyl phthalocyanine or the compsn. crystal thereof as its effective component. This crystal or compsn. crystal has a strong absorption at the prescribed wavelength of IR absorption spectra. The charge transfer agent contains the polystyrene compd. consisting of the constitutional unit expressed by formula I and having a hydrozone side chain of 1000 to 50000 mol. wt. as its essential component. In the formula I, R denotes a hydrogen atom, 1 to 4C lower alkyl group, etc. The photosensitive body for the high-speed printers is obtd. in this way. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1991,JPO&Japio
