titleOfInvention Polypropylene-polyester graft copolymer and production thereof
abstract PURPOSE: To obtain the title copolymer effective as a compatibilizing agent, having a high graft ratio, preventing occurrence of gel resulting from excessive reaction and resin clogging in an extruder, comprising a specific polyester and a functional group-containing modified polypropylene. n CONSTITUTION: The aimed copolymer effective as a compatibilizing agent between polycarbonate resin and polypropylene, comprising (A) 10-90 pts.wt. polyester having 0.5-1.8 intrinsic viscosity [η] and 10-100 equivalent/kg end carboxyl group concentration is reacted with (B) 10-90 pst.wt. modified polypropylene [e.g. propylene random copolymer containing nonconjugated diene monomner shown by the formula (R 1 to R 4 are H or 1-6C alkyl; n is 1-20)] containing 0.1-2.0wt.% functional group and having 0.5-80g/10 minutes melt flow rate (MFR, measured at 230°C under 2,160g load). n COPYRIGHT: (C)1991,JPO&Japio
