titleOfInvention | Manufacture of insertion material for chair seat back and seat |
abstract | PURPOSE:To manufacture an insertion material of sufficient strength, pertinent elasticity, lightweight and supportability by setting a frame material for a seat back and a seat to a mold, and spraying and curing an urethane elastomer material for integration with the aforesaid frame material. CONSTITUTION:A frame material 1 of metal, wood or hard plastics is set to a forming die 2. The surface 3 of the die 2 should preferably of three- dimensional shape. Then, upon spraying an urethane elastomer material to the frame material 1 via a spray skin method, chemical reaction takes place and the sprayed material starts curing. After curing, an insertion material comprising the integrated frame material 1 and elastomer film is released from the die 2, and the surroundings thereof are trimmed, thereby obtaining an intended insertion material. |
