titleOfInvention Controlling method of fish poison plankton
abstract PURPOSE: To control only fish poison plankton with decomposing hydrogen peroxide during a long period of time by scattering porous calcium silicate powdery granules containing hydrogen peroxide and iron in an amount so as concentration of hydrogen peroxide to be specific range into water area environment. n CONSTITUTION: Porous calcium silicate powdery granules containing hydrogen peroxide and iron are scattered so as concentration of hydrogen peroxide in water area to be 5-30ppm to control only fish poison plankton constructing red tide or water-bloom in fresh water, etc., without killing fishes, etc. Hydrogen peroxide existing in vacant space is gradually released and a part of the hydrogen peroxide is reacted with plankton or floating dust in water, especially metal oxide to generate active oxygen and carrier of the generated oxygen is vertically moved in floating and sinking by attaching and removing of the oxygen to the carrier, then dispersion of hydrogen peroxide is improved. Besides, OH radical generated by Fenton reaction with iron ion is effective. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1991,JPO&Japio
