abstract | PURPOSE: To make it possible to repeatedly use a specific sample liquid and inexpensively measure the sample liquid in good reappearance by introducing the sample liquid into a flow cell in which a filler having immobilized luciferase of firefly is packed. n CONSTITUTION: A reaction liquid storage tank 10, reaction liquid pump 12, sample injecting vessel 14 and bioluminescence detector 16 having a light permeable tube 24 in which particles immobilizing luciferase of firefly are packed and flow cell block F having reflecting face 18a and oppositely installed are arranged to provide the biolumicescence measuring device. Then a mixed liquid obtained by injecting a sample liquid containing luciferin into a fluid phase of a pump 12 system containing Mg ion and 5-5000mg/l large-excess adenosine triphosphate with an injector 14 is introduced into a inlet 24a of the block F to feed the mixed liquid to the circinate part of the tube 24. Then an enzyme in the tube 24 is reacted with a reaction liquid and sample and light emitted by excitation is reflected by the reflecting face 18a and allowed to enter into photoelectron multiplier to measure the bioluminescence. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1991,JPO&Japio |
