titleOfInvention Information processing element
abstract PURPOSE: To secure the plasticity of an information processing element by controlling the state of metastable material from the outside of the element with another signal. n CONSTITUTION: A metastable state is secured to a material or a composite material together with the control of this metastable state in order to attain the plasticity of an information processing element. For instance, a copper ion conductive solid electrolyte 12 is put between both copper chevrel mcgrowhill 11 having different composition ratios of copper so that a battery is obtained for an information processing element using the copper chevrel mcgrowhill 11. Thus each battery can ensure a kind of metastable states where the super-electric power is secured as long as no short circuit is caused between the positive and negative poles via a lead wire. When an inverted signal is applied to a transistor FET 13 set in parallel to the battery, the super-electric power of the battery is applied to an output FET 15 when the signal supplied via an input terminal 16 is kept at '1' (high voltage state). While the super- electric power is not applied to the FET 15 with the input signal kept at '0'. As a result, the information processing element can have the plasticity and therefore such a program that is required for a Neumann type computer is not required at all or substantially. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1991,JPO&Japio
