abstract |
PURPOSE: To obtain a sensitive body having superior potential retentivity and stable potential by electrification by incorporating titanylphthalocyanine contg. ≤0.2wt.% chlorine and having such a crystal form that the X-ray diffraction spectrum to Cu-Kα line has peaks at 9.5±0.2°, 24.1±0.2° and 27.2±0.2° of Bragg angle 2θ. n CONSTITUTION: Titanylphthalocyanine contg. ≤0.2wt.%, preferably ≤0.1wt.% chlorine and having such a crystal form that the X-ray diffraction spectrum to Cu-Kα line has peaks at 9.5±0.2°, 24.1±0.2° and 27.2±0.2° of Bragg angle 2θ is incorporated into a photosensitive layer. A carrier generating layer 2 is formed on an electrically conductive support 1 and a carrier transferring layer 3 is laminated on the layer 2 to form the photosensitive layer 4.
