abstract Novel acylaminocarboxylic acid derivatives of the general formula I n<IMAGE>n in which the groups R<1>, R<2>, R<3>, Z<1> and Z<2> have the meaning given in the claims, are described. The novel acylaminocarboxylic acid derivatives have useful pharmacological properties, which in particular favourably influence nitrogen metabolism. The use of the novel acylaminocarboxylic acid derivatives as pharmaceuticals and dietetics, in particular for the treatment and prophylaxis of, for example, nitrogen metabolic disorders due to damage to the liver and/or kidneys in larger mammals, in particular humans, and medicines and dietetics which contain the novel acylaminocarboxylic acid derivatives as active constituent are additionally described.
