titleOfInvention Thermoplastic resin composition
abstract PURPOSE: To provide a thermoplastic resin composition excellent in impact resistance, flow, moldability, processability, etc., by mixing an aromatic polyester with polypropylene, an α,β-unsaturated carboxylic acid-modified polypropylene and a transesterification catalyst in a specified weight ratio. n CONSTITUTION: 5-95wt.% aromatic polyester (e.g. polybutylene terephthalate) is mixed with 95-5wt.% polypropylene. 100 pts.wt. obtained mixed resin is mixed with 5-20 pts.wt. modified polypropylene containing 0.1-1.2mol% α,β-unsaturated carboxylic acid (derivative) (e.g. maleic anhydride) thereto grafted and 0.5-2 pts.wt. transesterification catalyst (e.g. dibutyltin oxide) to produce a thermoplastic resin composition. The obtained resin composition can be desirably used for electrical and electronic machine parts, automobile parts, etc. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1991,JPO&Japio
