abstract | PURPOSE: To obtain a thermosetting resin composition which can give a thermoset of improved heat resistance by mixing a triallyl isocyanurate prepolymer and/or monomer with a specified reaction product and an organic peroxide. n CONSTITUTION: Triallyl isocyanurate is reacted at 100°C or above in the presence of molecular oxide to obtain a triallyl isocyanurate prepolymer of a mol.wt. of 1000-100000. Separately, an epoxy compound is reacted with allylphenol in the presence of an epoxy curing catalyst to obtain a reaction product. 30-70 pts.wt. triallyl isocyanurate prepolymer and/or monomer is mixed with 70-30 pts.wt. above reaction product and 0-5 pts.wt. organic peroxide (e.g. dicymyl peroxide). n COPYRIGHT: (C)1991,JPO&Japio |
