abstract PURPOSE: To obtain a composition preventing freezing on wall face or glass window, etc., and quickly and readily defrosting ice on the frozen surface comprising aqueous solution containing specific amount of water-soluble organic liquid comprising respectively specific lower alcohol and polyhydric alcohol. n CONSTITUTION: (A) 100 pts.wt. at least one species of alcohol selected from methanol, ethanol and isopropyl alcohol is mixed with (B) an aqueous solution containing 35-55wt.% water-soluble organic liquid comprising 30-100 pts.wt. ethylene glycol and/or propylene glycol as essential ingredient to afford the aimed composition.
