titleOfInvention Production of ozonized water
abstract PURPOSE: To reduce the decomposition of ozone, to enhance the concn. of ozonized water and to suppress the decomposition of ozone by mixing ozone gas with carbon dioxide and dissolving this gaseous mixture in a predetermined amount of water to prepare ozonized water. n CONSTITUTION: Pure water is received in an ozone dissolving tank 4 and CO 2 from a carbon dioxide cylinder 1 is mixed with the O 3 -containing gas from an ozone generator 2 in a gas mixer 3. Next, the gaseous mixture of CO 2 and the O 3 -containing gas is introduced into an ozone dissolving tank 4 while the stirrer 5 of the ozone dissolving tank 4 is operated to prepare high concn. ozonized water. When this method is employed, since ozonized water is prepared by allowing inexpensive carbon dioxide to exist in ozone, the decomposition of ozone is reduced and the concn. of ozonized water is enhanced and the decomposition of O 3 in ozonized water can be suppressed. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1991,JPO&Japio
