titleOfInvention | Production of coated cloth |
abstract | PURPOSE:To obtain a flexible, waterproof coated cloth of high moisture permeability excellent in resistance to washing by coating one surface of a fibrous base material with a resin solution containing a mixture of polyurethane resins incompatible with each other followed by coagulation in water. CONSTITUTION:A fibrous base material is first put to water- and oil-repellent processing, and one surface thereof is coated with a DMF solution mainly containing a mixture of polyurethane resins incompatible with each other followed by coagulation in water, thus obtaining the objective coated cloth of excellent durability with both high waterproofness and moisture permeability. Said resins are e.g. polyurethane resins predominant in polyalkylene ether glycol as polyol component, polyurethane resins predominant in polyester polyol or poly epsilon-caprolactone polyol as polyol component, polyurethane urea resins or polyurethane resins predominant in 4,4'-dicyclohexylmethane diisocyanate. |
