titleOfInvention Production of sheet-shaped material containing recyclable type cation-exchange fiber
abstract PURPOSE: To produce the subject sheet-shaped material excellent in formation such as uniformity of thickness by bringing an amino alcohol into contact with a recyclable type cation-exchange fiber in advance before filtration-collection when dispersing the above-mentioned fiber in water, carrying out filtration- collection and producing the sheet-shaped material. n CONSTITUTION: An objective sheet-shaped material is produced by (A) pretreating a recyclable type cation-exchange fiber (H type) prepared by introducing a functional group (e.g. carboxyl group or sulfonyl group) capable of provision of a cation-exchange function into, e.g. a cellulose- or polystyrene-based fiber with an amino alcohol (suitably α-aminoethanol, diethanolamine, etc., soluble in water and having amino group and alcoholic OH in one molecule) in advance, subsequently dispersing the pretreated fiber in water and carrying out filtration-collection or by (B) dispersing a material containing a recyclable type cation-exchange fiber in water containing an amino alcohol and, arbitrarily, another dispersant preliminarily dispersed therein and subsequently carrying out filtration-collection. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1991,JPO&Japio
