PURPOSE:To preserve the emulsion for a long period without settling of lecithin and to attain the stable coexistence of lecithin with other components by forming the emulsion with a phase in which lecithin is dispersed in water and a base oil phase in which the water dispersed phase of lecithin is dispersed. CONSTITUTION:The emulsion consists of a phase in which lecithin (oil-soluble natural surfactant forming the cell membrane of animals and plants) is dispersed in water and a base oil phase in which the water dispersed layer of lecithin is dispersed and is used as the cosmetic base material, etc. Lecithin is dispersed in water in the form of liposome in the water dispersed phase of lecithin, and an O/W emulsion with lecithin as the essential emulsifier, etc., are also used. Soybean lecithin, egg lecithin, etc., are exemplified as the lecithin. |
