abstract PURPOSE: To obtain the subject composition which gives a coating film with excellent finish even when applied to a thin coat by incorporating not an inorganic pigment but specified fine particles into a cationic electrodeposition coating composition in the form of an emulsified dispersion containing an amine- modified epoxy resin and a blocked isocyanate. n CONSTITUTION: The subject composition is obtained by incorporating not an inorganic pigment but fine gel particles (e.g. fine gel polymer particles obtained by copolymerizing styrene, n-butyl acrylate, 1, 6-hexanediol diacrylate, 2- hydroxyethyl acrylate, and γ-methacryloxypropyltrimethoxysilane) into a cationic electrodeposition coating composition in the form of an emulsified dispersion containing an amine-modified epoxy resin and a blocked isocyanate. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1991,JPO&Japio
