titleOfInvention Water-permeable concrete composition reinforced with organic fiber
abstract PURPOSE:To obtain a water-permeable concrete having excellent tensile strength and impact resistance and remarkably improved toughness by compounding cement, water, organic fiber and aggregate. CONSTITUTION:The objective water-permeable concrete composition is composed of 300-600kg of cement, 75-240kg of water, 0.1-5.0vol.% of organic fiber and the remaining part of aggregate based on 1m<3> of the composition. The organic fiber is especially preferably polyvinyl alcohol fiber owing to its high reinforcing effect. There are sheet-forming type and premix type in the polyvinyl alcohol fiber for the reinforcement of cement and the premix type is preferable because of its excellent dispersibility. The aggregate is preferably prepared to have a particle size distribution comprising >=85wt.% of fraction passing through 13mm sieve, <=50wt.% of fraction passing through 2.5mm sieve, <=25wt% of fraction passing through 1.2mm sieve and <=10wt.% of fraction passing through 0.6mm sieve.
