abstract PURPOSE: To provide an auxiliary adhesive, which is composed of a specific polysiloxane, and by which an elastomer formed on a base material, can be effectively attached to the base material without undercoating. n CONSTITUTION: An auxiliary adhesive which includes a polysiloxane of formula I (p is 1-10). A composition comprising (A) the polysiloxane of the formula I, (B) diorganopolysiloxane comprising SiC-bonded vinyl groups of formula II (R 6 is free, monovalent or SiC-bonded organic group of aliphatic C-C multiple bond; x is an integer capable of achiving the average viscosity at 25°C, of 100-10 6 mPa.s, particularly 200-200,000 mPa.s., (C) a compound having SiC-bonded hydrogen of formula III (y is 0, 1; z is 0-3; y+z is 0-3, but at least 2, particularly at least 3 SiC-bonded hydrogens are included), and (D) a catalyst for accelerating the addition of Si-bonded hydrogens to SiC-bonded vinyl groups, is applied onto a base material and caused to crosslink to obtain an elastomer which is suitably attached to the base material. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1991,JPO
