titleOfInvention Thienooxazinone derivative
abstract NEW MATERIAL:Thieno(3,2-d)(1,3)oxazin-4-one derivatives of formula l [X 1 and X 2 are H, halogen, carboxyl, sulfonyl, nitro, cyano, OH, alkoxy, monoalkylamino, (substituted)alkyl, (substituted)phenyl, etc.; R is (substituted) alkyl, (substituted)phenyl or (substituted)naphthyl]. n EXAMPLE: 2-Phenyl-thieno(3,2-d)(1,3)oxazin-4-one of formula II. n USE: A germicide and a herbicide. n PREPARATION: An amide compound of formula III is heated in an organic acid [e.g. acetic acid (anhydride) or propionic acid (anhydride)] preferably at 50-150°C for 8-15hr for dehydration. In addition, the ratio of the organic acid used is preferably 1-10mol based on 1mol amide compound. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1991,JPO&Japio
