NEW MATERIAL:Compounds of formula I [R 1 is H, nitro, amino, halogen or 1-4C alkyl; R 2 is H, nitro, amino, halogen, 1-4C (halo)alkyl, acyl, etc.; R 3 is H, 1-8C alkyl or (substituted)allyl; m is 0-2; n is 1 or 2; Dotted line is single bond or double bond]. n EXAMPLE: 2-(4-Chlorophenyl)-8-methyl-4a,5-dihydro-2H-thieno(2',3':2,3)thiopyrano (4,5-c)pyridazin-3(4H)-one. n USE: An antianxiety agent, a sleep-inducing agent, an antiepileptic agent and a psychotropic drug. n PREPARATION: A compound of formula II is reacted with a hydrazine derivative of formula R 3 -NHNH 2 or an acid adduct salt thereof to obtain a compound of formula III and the resultant compound is subjected to a ring closure reaction. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1991,JPO&Japio |
