abstract PURPOSE:To form a joint part having a beautiful line even after the skin material and an expanded body integrated and to make the appearance good by providing an immovably fitted supporting piece to the parting face of a mold for expansion molding. CONSTITUTION:Molds 11, 12 are opened and a first skin raw material 3 of the skin material 2 is arranged along the molding face 11b of the mold 11. Moreover the supporting piece 6 of the skin material 2 is arranged along the parting face 11a of the mold 11. Thereafter the molds 1, 2 are closed to pinch the supporting piece 6. Then urethane-based expandable resin is foamed in the internal space of the skin material 2 and an expanded body 1 is formed. When this expanded body 1 is joined to the skin material 2, the jointed part 5 is not moved even when a force is exerted to the skin material 2 in the stage of this expansion molding. Therefore the line of the joined part 5 is shown very beautifully after the expansion molding. Further after expansion molding is performed, the supporting piece 6 is pulled outside, torn and removed.
