abstract PURPOSE: To embed a flower or fish without discoloring or damaging the same, to omit a cutting and grinding process and to obtain a product excellent in air blocking properties by mixing an epoxy resin having good adhesiveness to glass with a bisphenol F type epoxy resin so as to lower the generation of heat at the time of curing before using the same. n CONSTITUTION: A flexible epoxy resin is mixed with a bisphenol F type epoxy resin in a larger amount along with a curing agent and the resin mixture is injected in a container-shaped outer wall body made of glass and a dehydrated or dried flower or fish is inserted in the resin mixture to perform curing. The flexible epoxy resin is mixed with the bisphenol F type epoxy resin and a curing agent or the bisphenol F type epoxy resin in a smaller amount along with the curing agent and this resin mixture is injected in the outer wall body to be cured or the opening part of the container-shaped outer wall body is closed by a glass plate or a metal plate to prepare a resin covered decorative produce. Since the epoxy resin has good adhesiveness to glass but the generation of heat at the time of curing is large, the bisphenol F type epoxy resin and the flexible epoxy resin are mixed before use to lower heat generating temp. at the time of curing. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1991,JPO&Japio
