NEW MATERIAL:A piperidine derivative shown by formula I [R 1 and R 2 are H, halogen, lower alkyl or lower alkoxy; R 3 is H or lower alkyl; X is O or S; Y is 1-7C alkylene which may be replaced with lower alkyl or -A-O-B- (A and B are 1-3C alkylene which may be replaced with lower alkyl)] and a salt thereof. n EXAMPLE: Methyl (±)-4-[(4-methylphenyl)phenylmethoxy]-1- piperidinecaproate.hydrochloride. n USE: Having anti-histamine action and antiallergic action and useful as a remedy for bronchial asthma, allergic rhinitis, dermatosis, urticaria, etc. n PREPARATION: A piperidine derivative shown by formula II is reacted with a compound shown by formula III (Z is halogen) to give a compound shown by formula I. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1991,JPO&Japio |
