abstract | PURPOSE: To obtain the subject drug stable to light, heat and air oxidation by uniformly blending and dispersing a vitamin D 3 unstable at the room temperature together with dibutyl-hydroxytoluene or butyl-hydoxyanisole in a vehicle such as crystalline cellulose. n CONSTITUTION: A Vitamin D 3 (especially preferably vitamin D 3 or 1α- hydroxyvitamin D 3 ) is dispersed in crystalline cellulose or crystalline cellulose- sodium carboxymethylcellulose using dibutyl-hydroxytoluene or butyl- hydroxyanisole to obtain the objective drug containing an excellently dispersed stable vitamin D 3 . The resultant drug obtained by the above-mentioned method is almost free from reduction of vitamin D 3 content for a long period.
